Analysis: Germany’s position on Israel’s annexation plan weakens its international role

In an analysis I wrote for the Palestinian magazine “Shu’un Filastiniyah”: Israel’s decision to annex Palestinian lands in the West Bank comes at a critical time for Germany, as it stands on the threshold of an important test of its foreign policy, especially as it will take over the presidency of the Security Council as well as the Council of the European Union during the month of July.
